It’s been an unbelievable year for Ohio State junior wrestler Kyle Snyder. After becoming the youngest world wrestling champion in United States history in 2015 at age 19, Snyder then became the youngest American ever to win gold in wrestling at the Rio Olympic Games this summer as a 20-year-old.
Snyder was honored by OSU at Ohio Stadium during halftime of the Buckeyes home football game against Bowling Green State University on Saturday for his accomplishments. WMFD’s Mike Thompson and Brian Skowronski caught up with Snyder to discuss his recent success and support from the University.
